Q: What are your earrings made from?
A: Our earrings are primarily made from polymer clay. All of our earring findings are either made from brass or stainless steel. Stainless steel has hypoallergenic qualities, so is unlikely to cause an allergic reaction, but may tarnish over time.
Some of our designs have been made using either resin, acrylic paint, water transfer paper, glitter or mica flakes.
Polymer clay when baked and cured is quite tough and durable, but is still prone to breaking, so you'll need to be careful when wearing them, taking them off and putting them on. We advise that you don't wear our earrings to bed, in the shower, to the gym or while sunbathing. Water, makeup and lotions can affect the colour of the clay and may stain or tarnish your earrings.
Q: Can I return or exchange my earrings?
A: Due to health and safety and the nature of these products, unfortunately we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any of our earrings. If an item has broken within the first 14 days of purchase, please contact us at middlemistlondon@outlook.com and we'll try to assist where possible. Returns and refunds will not be accepted if an item has broken to mishandling or misuse.
Q: What happens if my earring has become stained or has broken?
A: If your earring has been stained due to makeup, have no fear! simply take a gentle makeup wipe or gentle cleanser and cotton pad, and gently wipe the affected earring and the stain should come off.
We attach our stud posts using a couple of different methods to ensure it stays secure. In the case where a stud post has come away, just reattach using super glue
Some of our earrings have been finished using clay sealant. This may start to wear and come away. This is usually due to wearing them in bed, in the shower or while swimming and this is why we advise that you remember to take your earrings out to ensure they stay looking beautiful
Some of our earrings have been finished using UV resin. The product we use states it doesn't yellow, but we can't guarantee that that's 100%, so we advise to not wear your earrings while swimming or while sunbathing. Also avoid getting lotions and moisturisers on your earrings as this potentially could affect the colour of the resin. We state this as a precaution, to ensure your earrings stay looking their best.

Q: How long will my order take to arrive?
A: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-3 working days. We also send all orders using Royal Mail 48hr tracked, so including dispatch and delivery it can take roughly 3-5 working days for your order to arrive. Any issues, please get in contact with us at middlemistlondon@outlook.com
Q: Are these earrings hypoallergenic, or safe for sensitive ears?
A: all of our earring findings (i.e stud posts, hoops, Huggies and jump ring connectors) are made from either stainless steel or brass. They have hypoallergenic qualities and shouldn't cause allergic reactions, but If you or a loved one are particularly sensitive, we would say that our earrings probably aren't suitable.
